If you love bourbon sweet tea on a warm summer day (or just any day really), we’ve got a recipe that will spice up your life and give you a whole new appreciation for this cocktail. It’s as simple as changing up the tea bags and adding a few extra baking-inspired ingredients.
INGREDIENTS
1.0 cup of bourbon
0.5 cup of honey
3 vanilla chai tea bags
3.0 cups of water
2.0 apples
3-5 cinnamon sticks
INSTRUCTIONS
Cut up apple and place in bourbon.
Boil water and put into jar containing honey, cinnamon sticks and tea bags.
Let steep for 10-15 minutes (or longer, depending on how strong you like your tea).
Remove tea bags and add bourbon and apples.
Cover jar and chill.
Serve in small mason jars or rocks glasses with or without ice… or serve it hot!
