Inspired by Mai Tais and Blue Hawaiians, Midnight at the Oasis is a fruity cocktail that featured Pendleton Midnight rye among other flavours. If you haven’t seen this before, what makes the cocktail black is activated charcoal. And no, it’s not the same as the type that you’re using to fire up your grill, it’s activated which means that its absorbent, safe to consume and might even help to hinder your hangover.
And if you’re digging the colour scheme, you can check out our Black + Blue Manhattan. It may not look black or blue but the blackberry + blueberry compote makes for a delicious twist on a classic.
