A modern classic, the Bramble was created in 1980 by the late Dick Bradshell, who was known as the “cocktail king” in England. This cocktail is one of my favourites to sip on in the spring but uses Gin as its base. And while I love Gin, Bourbon in this cocktail is where it’s at! Check out the recipe below.
INGREDIENTS
45 mL Bourbon
22.5 mL Lemon Juice
15 mL Simple Syrup
15 mL Creฬme de Mure (or Chambord)
INSTRUCTIONS
In a cocktail shaker add ice, bourbon, lemon and simple syrup. Shake and double strain in a rocks glass over crushed ice. Top with Creme de Mure or Chambord and garnish with fresh blackberries.
